SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- A Maserati led authorities on a lengthy chase through several cities around San Diego County before coming to a stop at a Spring Valley fast food restaurant.

At around 9 p.m. Wednesday, San Diego police attempted to pull over a black Maserati in the Encanto area, but the driver refused to stop.

The luxury car sped away, leading law enforcement on a pursuit that entered various towns in the county.

At different points during the chase, authorities laid down spike strips that the Maserati ran over, but the car’s tires did not deflate, and it kept going due to its run-flat wheels.

After about an hour on the run, the car eventually made its way to a Rally’s fast food restaurant on 8667 Jamacha Rd. and stopped.

The driver was arrested and a passenger was detained for questioning, police told 10News.
