SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A man taken into custody after a homicide in University City had a fight with the victim prior to the death, San Diego Police said.
At about 6:13 a.m., San Diego police responded to a report of a person not breathing at a home in the 5300 block of Bothe Avenue.
Firefighters and police officers who arrived on the scene found a 56-year-old man with trauma to his upper body. The man had "obvious signs of death" and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
The victim lived at the home with a 57-year-old woman and her 34-year-old son, who was taken into custody for questioning. Police said the son, who was not identified, had a fight with the victim.
