SAN DIEGO (KGTV) – A man was taken to the hospital with a stab wound after a fight in front of the Dave & Buster’s restaurant in Mission Valley spilled into the parking lot.
San Diego police said the incident happened just before 1:20 a.m. Thursday at the establishment on 2931 Camino del Rio North.
According to police, a 19-year-old man was talking to others in front of the restaurant when another man approached him.
Words were exchanged and a fight erupted, and during the altercation, the 19-year-old man was stabbed. He was taken to the hospital with a non-life threatening stab wound to his lower abdomen.
The suspected attacker, described as an Asian man between 20-25 years old, fled the scene and remains at large.
Security guards at the restaurant told police that they pepper-sprayed several people during the fight in an attempt to stop the melee.
