Man stabbed during argument in El Cerrito, suspect at large

SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A 38-year-old man was stabbed in the left shoulder during an argument this morning in the El Cerrito area.

The man was arguing with the suspect at 12:20 a.m. in the 5000 block of Federal Boulevard when he was stabbed at least once, according to Officer Robert Heims of the San Diego Police Department.

The victim walked to the 5600 block of University Avenue and called police. Paramedics took the victim to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Heims said.

A description of the suspect was not available.
