SAN DIEGO (KGTV) – Police are looking for a man suspected of smashing the windows on at least nine cars parked on a Bankers Hill street Sunday night.
At around 11:30 p.m., witnesses called San Diego police to report a white man using a metal pipe to smash windows on cars on both Fir Street and Fifth Avenue.
A witness told 10News, “He had a piece of metal, slamming it on windows. I mean, just one after another. He just started out of madness; man, I couldn’t believe it.”
The man was last seen jumping over a fence leading to Interstate 5 before officers arrived.
