ESCONDIDO, Calif. (CNS) - A trash truck struck and killed a man Tuesday in a commercial area of Escondido, near the intersection of Interstate 15 and state Route 78, authorities reported.
The traffic fatality took place shortly after 5:40 a.m. on Quince Street, a short distance from Norlak Avenue, according to Escondido Police.
The unidentified pedestrian died at the scene, police stated.
