SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A man found dead in the Hillcrest area was identified by authorities.
San Diego police said the body of 35-year-old Leo Trippett Jr. was discovered in the 3400 block of Albert Street, a short distance away from Balboa Park, at around 5:30 a.m. on June 23.
According to police, a person walking in the area called 911 after seeing a man down. Responding emergency crews attempted life-saving measures, but Trippett -- a San Diego resident -- was declared dead at the scene.
Police noted that Trippett had trauma to his upper body.
