SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A suspect was arrested in connection with the death of a man whose body was found in a home near Rancho San Diego.
Shortly after 10 p.m. Tuesday, San Diego County sheriff’s deputies were called to the 10900 block of Explorer Road in response to a report of an unresponsive male inside a house.
Life-saving measures were performed, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.
The death prompted a sheriff’s homicide investigation, and 65-year-old Thomas Zupner was detained at the scene and questioned.
Sheriff’s officials said Zupner was eventually arrested and booked into jail on suspicion of murder.
