SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Lightning was visible in the skies above parts of San Diego County Tuesday morning.
The 10News Breaking News Tracker was in Otay Mesa at around 5:30 a.m. when lightning struck in the area.
Other lightning strikes were reported near Oceanside and across the border in Mexico.
At around 7 a.m., an Airport Weather Warning was issued for San Diego’s Lindbergh Field due to reports of lightning. The warning is expected to last through 8 a.m.
