UPDATE (12:57 p.m. Wednesday): San Diego Police have located Karin Tex safe and reunited with her family.
SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- A 77-year-old woman was reported missing after she drove away from her San Carlos home Monday evening.
San Diego police said Karin Marie Tex was last seen leaving her house on Casselberry Way at around 10 p.m. on May 25. Tex drove from the home in her 2008 silver Toyota Sienna van, with California license plate 6EWZ284.
It is unknown where Tex may have been heading.
Tex is white, 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighs around 110 pounds, with green eyes and brown hair. It is unclear what kind of clothing she was wearing at the time she left her home.
Family members told police she suffers from undiagnosed dementia.
