(KGTV) - At least 19 vehicles crashed in heavy fog on Interstate 15 through San Bernardino County’s Cajon Pass Wednesday morning, KABC reported.
All southbound lanes shut down at Oak Hill Road in Hesperia due to the pileup about 9:30 a.m., according to Caltrans.
Caltrans tweets showed the foggy conditions. Traffic backed up for miles as California Highway Patrol officers worked to clear the scene.

Crews had the wrecked vehicles moved off the freeway by noon, Caltrans reported.
Traffic remained a problem in the high desert Wednesday afternoon due to a crash on Highway 138, as well as lingering fog.
