SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Firefighters put out a fire that destroyed a homeless encampment in Mount Hope early Tuesday morning.
The fire was reported at around 12:45 a.m. in the 4000 block of C Street, according to San Diego Fire-Rescue officials.
Several residents called 911 due to concerns about the fire spreading to their homes with dry brush nearby.
Crews quickly put the fire out, but the flames destroyed the camp.
