SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A car crashed into a washing machine that was somehow left in the middle of a San Diego freeway late Thursday night.
The collision between the car and appliance happened at around 11:15 p.m. on the northbound Interstate 805 ramp to eastbound state Route 94, in the Mount Hope area.
According to the driver, his car rolled over after hitting the machine. The vehicle eventually came to rest on its roof.
The driver had to kick a side window out to escape.
California Highway Patrol officials are trying to determine how the washing machine ended up on the freeway.
