SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after the SUV he was driving crashed into a business at a North Park strip mall on Tuesday.
The wreck occurred just after 9:10 p.m. at 2859 El Cajon Blvd., according to San Diego police.
No one was inside when the SUV crashed through the business’ large glass front window and door and ended up in the building.
The vehicle was totaled, the driver was not injured.
The driver was taken into custody on suspicion of DUI, but 10News learned a passenger in the SUV ran from the scene after the crash.
The exact cause of the crash is under investigation.
