SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — ABC 10News Anchor Kimberly Hunt was in the Old Town community Friday afternoon reporting on Cinco de Mayo celebrations happening throughout America's Finest City.
It's a day filled with fiesta, food, and dance as well as some misconceptions as to what the day actually celebrates.
Although Cinco De Mayo is often confused with Mexico’s Independence Day, it commemorates the Mexican army’s win over France in the Battle of Puebla in 1862.
