SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- A driver who crashed into a parked vehicle on a Clairemont street late Monday night got out of her overturned car and asked witnesses not to call the police, the witnesses said.
San Diego police said the crash happened at around 10:15 p.m. Monday in the 3500 block of Mt. Acadia Boulevard.
Witnesses told 10News a car driven by a woman crashed into the back of an SUV, flipped over and then came to rest on its roof.
According to witnesses, the woman got out of the car through a broken window and then asked that they not contact police.
The witnesses went on to call police, and responding paramedics determined that the woman was not hurt.
Police are investigating the circumstances that led to the crash and whether the driver was under the influence.
