JAMUL (CNS) - Firefighters today were in southwestern San Diego County working to put out a five-acre brush fire near the community of Jamul.
CalFire San Diego reported the fire about 10 p.m. Saturday. It was reported burning about a half-mile south of Echo Valley and Proctor Valley roads.
No structures were threatened, CalFire stated.
The fire could be seen glowing in photos taken by UC San Diego.
