SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Border Patrol agents arrested two people in El Cajon following a high-speed chase that began in the South Bay.
At around 10:45 p.m. Sunday, agents spotted a vehicle in the Otay Mesa area occupied by several suspected undocumented migrants. When agents tried to pull the vehicle over, the driver refused to stop and sped away.
With agents in pursuit, the car traveled north on state Route 125, transitioned to eastbound Interstate 8, and then exited on El Cajon Boulevard.
The vehicle came to a stop on Millar Avenue, and several people got out and ran away.
Agents were able to apprehend two people, but it is unclear if the other occupants were taken into custody.
