NATIONAL CITY, Calif. (KGTV) - Police say the initial finding is suicide after a man’s body was found outside of a National City home Thursday morning.
At around 7:30 a.m., National City police were called to a home in the 2200 block E. 18th Street, between Euclid Avenue and Prospect Street, in response to a report of a body outside of the house.
Police said the deceased man, believed to be in his 50s, was found with injuries to his face. It was initially deemed suspicious because of the injuries, but late Thursday afternoon, a police spokesperson told 10news they believe the man took his own life, though they did not reveal what led them to that conclusion.
