SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A boat parked on a Mount Hope street was nearly pushed into a home in a hit-and-run crash early Friday morning.

According to San Diego police, the incident happened at around 2:30 a.m. in the 1000 block of 41st Street.

10News learned a silver Cadillac CTS hit a parked pickup truck and then a trailer that had a boat loaded on it. The impact caused the boat to strike a house as residents inside slept.

Several residents got out to see what was going on and confronted the driver. The residents said the driver tried to fight them but got back into his car and drove away.

Witnesses said there were three people wearing hoodies inside the Cadillac.

No injuries were reported, but a pregnant woman who was shocked and frightened by the crash was taken to the hospital to be evaluated.
According to witnesses, the Cadillac had damage to its front end and one of its front tires was almost dangling from the body.

Several blocks away, a car matching the description of the hit-and-run car reportedly hit another parked vehicle. A 10News crew spotted the vehicle on 44th and F streets, but the occupants were nowhere to be found.
