SAN DIEGO (KGTV) – San Diegans are being encouraged to ditch their cars and ride their bikes on Thursday morning as part of National Bike to Work Day.
On May 16, SANDAG is setting up 100 pit stops across San Diego where bicyclists participating in the event can get official Bike to Work Day swag like T-shirts, healthy snacks and other giveaways.
Those taking part in Bike to Work Day will be cheered on by volunteers and others at the pit stops from 6 a.m.-9 a.m.
