SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A woman was taken to the hospital and eight residents were displaced after a fire broke out at a Point Loma condominium complex on Friday.
The fire erupted shortly after 7:30 a.m. at the Harbor Villas complex in the 3900 block of Udall Street.
10News learned the fire broke out in a second-floor unit above a garage, but firefighters were able to contain it before it spread to other homes.
A woman rescued from the unit was treated at the scene and then rushed to the hospital with injuries considered serious.
Six men and two women were forced from their homes due to water damage.
There is no immediate word on the cause of the fire.
