(KGTV) - Another earthquake struck near San Clemente Island, off the coast of Southern California,Thursday morning, one day after multiple quakes were reported in the same area.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a magnitude-3.5 earthquake was recorded at 4:25 a.m. near San Clemente Island. The island is 77 miles away from San Diego.
Based on the USGS’ “Did You Feel It?” monitor, no San Diegans reported feeling the morning temblor.
On Wednesday, at least three earthquakes -- one of them a magnitude-4.3 -- were reported near San Clemente Island.
The quakes were felt from Santa Monica to San Clemente, with some light shaking reported in Escondido, La Jolla and Chula Vista.
