SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Two men were arrested in connection with the death of a man found lying on a Hillcrest street, San Diego police announced Friday.
On April 15, at around 9:15 p.m., officers responded to a 911 regarding a man lying near Front and West Washington streets with blood near him.
The injured man appeared to be an assault victim, with “apparent trauma to his head and torso,” according to police.
The 60-year-old victim was taken to the hospital for treatment but died from his injuries.
Based on a witness’ statement and description, police tracked down two men possibly involved in the incident.
According to police, investigators identified the two men as suspects in the case and arrested them.
Willie Gray, 64, from Louisiana, and 39-year-old Darcell Moore, of San Diego, were booked into jail on suspicion of murder, police said.
