EL CAJON, Calif. (KGTV) -- A San Diego family has pulled their daughter out of an El Cajon private school after an incident involving a Black Lives Matter t-shirt.
The incident happened at Christian Unified High School back in September.
The girl's mother says her daughter was asked to change after she wore the shirt to an event called "Patriot's Day".
They say other students were allowed to continue wearing their politically charged shirts.
School administrators tell 10News other students wearing shirts with political messages were asked to change and have since issued an apology to the family.
