(KGTV) - New details are coming forward about the Las Vegas concert shooter as authorities investigate a motive.
Stephen Paddock's brother said Paddock had a couple of guns, possibly a long gun, and kept them in a safe. Paddock had no machine guns to his brother's knowledge.
Paddock was 64-years-old and lived in an upscale retirement community in Mesquite, Nevada.
10News ran a background search on Paddock. He apparently lived in the Los Angeles and San Bernardino County areas from the mid-70's to the early eighties.
Records show Paddock also spent time managing properties in North Texas.
ABC News reported that Paddock was a licensed hunter and private pilot.
He owned an aircraft that he kept at Mesquite Metro Airport in Texas from 2007 to 2009.
Paddock also worked as an account or auditor and was employed by a predecessor of Lockheed Martin from 1985 to 1989.
According to reports, Paddock was a regular at Las Vegas casinos. A lawsuit from 2012 indicates a man named Stephen Paddock sued the Cosmopolitan Hotel.
