SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A stretch of Carmel Mountain Road in the Rancho Penasquitos area was blocked off early Friday morning after a large tree branch fell onto the roadway.
Authorities said they received reports of a tree branch blocking lanes on northbound Carmel Mountain Ranch near Gerana Street at around 2 a.m.
No injuries or crashes were reported, but authorities closed a portion of the road so crews can cut the large branch and remove it from the street.
The road was completely cleared shortly before 5 a.m.
