Crews are working to clear a multi-vehicle crash involving an overturned box truck hours ahead of Friday’s afternoon commute along westbound State Route 94.
The collision was reported at around 1:12 p.m. at Home Avenue in San Diego, according to California Highway Patrol incident logs.
The crash shut down SR-94’s two left lanes in the westbound direction.
Officers are directing vehicles around the crash using the shoulder of the highway but motorists are advised to take alternate routes.
A driver of a sedan and two people inside of the box truck were taken to the hospital.
