SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- If Mexico beats Brazil and advances to the Quarterfinals of the World Cup, Californians may get a little help paying for their beer.
Bud Light made the announcement on their Twitter account earlier in June. Many people have interpreted the message to mean Bud Light will give Californians free beer.
The actual text of the message reads "should Mexico advance to the Quarterfinals, such a great victory will be celebrated by him helping ye pay for thy celebratory Bud Lights."
Mexico will take on Brazil on Monday at 7 a.m.
