All HomeTown Buffet restaurants in California will donate 10 percent of its pre-tax sales on Aug. 31 to the American Red Cross to help those impacted by the numerous wildfires that have burned in the state.
"With forty-four locations throughout California, supporting our community is extremely important to us," said Mike Griffith, Director of Marketing for Ovation Brands, the parent company of HomeTown Buffet. "We are honored to assist those affected by previous and current fires throughout the state."
According to the HomeTown Buffet website, there are three locations in San Diego County -- two in Chula Vista and one location in National City.
