A child riding a bicycle was hit by a car in San Marcos Monday night.
The child was riding along the 3000 block of Capalina Road just before 8:30 p.m. when they were struck.
Sheriff’s deputies are searching for the driver, who did not stop at the scene.
The child is being transported via air ambulance to Rady Children’s Hospital.
San Diego County Sheriff’s Deputies are investigating.
