SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A hit-and-run crash blocked several lanes of Interstate 15 southbound at University Avenue on Sunday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Around 6:30 p.m., a driver in an Audi hit a car going north on I-15 at the I-805 junction, causing that car to roll down a hill and land in the southbound lanes of I-15, the CHP said.
The driver of the Audi got out of the car and ran from the scene of the accident.
People in the other car were injured, according to the CHP.
CHP issued a Sigalert for both sides of the freeway shortly after 7 p.m. for about an hour.
