High-speed pursuit ends in wreck, arrests in Barrio Logan

SAN DIEGO, Calif. -- Several teens were detained following a pursuit and crash in Barrio Logan early Monday morning. 
 
According to San Diego police, the incident began at around 4:15 a.m. in the area of Harbor Drive and 5th Avenue when officers attempted to pull over a Subaru without its headlights on. The Subaru refused to stop and a chase ensued. 
 
The pursuit ended about 10 minutes later on Harbor Drive and 28th Street when the suspect vehicle clipped a parked Jeep with a man inside and rolled down a small embankment near General Dynamics, a ship construction company. Four people inside the car got out and ran. Three them were caught. The fourth remained at large. 
 
There were no serious injuries. The man sitting in the Jeep was taken to a hospital to be checked out. 
 
"It was like a real-life Grand Theft Auto," he told 10News. 
 
The three detained teens were taken to San Diego police headquarters to be questioned. The crash remains under investigation.
