SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Fire crews Tuesday evening responded to a single-acre brush fire near Lake Murray.
The fire started near Lake Murray and Interstate 8 near the reservoir. Firefighters said just before 5 p.m. that forward progress was stopped on the fire.
The fire did inch close to several homes in the area, but the direction of the wind kept the fire moving toward the water.
