SAN DIEGO -- San Diego police sought a gunman in a black SUV who opened fire on a car in the East Village early Sunday morning, wounding its driver.
Someone inside the SUV fired three or four bullets toward the victim's vehicle at the intersection of E and 14th streets, according to San Diego police Sgt. Tom Sullivan.
The victim was struck in his right bicep and under his right arm, but Sullivan said his wounds were not life-threatening.
The SUV was last seen heading south on Interstate 5, Sullivan said. A detailed description of the shooter was not immediately available.
