ESCONDIDO, Calif. (KGTV) -- A young girl in Escondido says two men tried to lure her into their car in two different instances.
The incident happened as she was walking home from Mission Middle School.
The victim says she was almost home when a man in a dented grey car, possibly a BMW, yelled at her to get inside his car.
The victim kept walking, but she says the man turned around and kept following her. She started to run away when she saw the man unbuckle his seatbelt.
“I got really scared, that's when I said, I’m not going to pay attention to him and start running,” said the young girl.
Police say the young girl ran away, got help and immediately reported the incident.
The second incident happened later in November. Police took reports of both incidents and had vague descriptions of the suspects and cars, but say they don’t have enough to go on to be able to actively search for the suspects.
