SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A gas leak forced an evacuation of a building in the Mission Valley area.
The leak was first reported shortly after 8:30 a.m. in a construction site near the 8500 block of Aspect Drive, off Via Alta.
The cause of the leak is unknown, but San Diego Fire-Rescue officials told 10News at least one building was evacuated.
Officials said San Diego Gas & Electric crews turned off the gas about two hours later and made repairs.
The evacuation order was lifted shortly before 11 a.m.
