CHULA VISTA, Calif. - Chula Vista police are warning motorists that especially heavy traffic is expected Tuesday night around the Sleep Train Amphitheatre where rapper G-Eazy will take the stage.
Traffic congestion before the performance is expected on southbound Interstate 805 to the Main Street and on Main Street from Interstate 805 to the venue starting at around 4 p.m., police said. Concertgoers will also have to contend with construction work on carpool lanes in the area and the usual rush hour traffic.
Area residents and drivers headed to a destination around the venue were encouraged to use alternate routes, such as the South Bay Expressway to Otay Mesa Road, or southbound Interstate 5 to eastbound state Route 905, northbound I-805, then Main Street.
