EL CAJON, Calif. (KGTV)--Fire crews responded to a 12-acre brush fire Sunday morning, according to Cal Fire San Diego.
The vegetation fire was reported around 11:15 a.m. at 4600 Dehesa Road near Sloane Canyon Road and close to Dehesa Elementary School.
By 12:15 p.m., crews had stopped the forward rate of spread at five acres.
Dehesa Road was shut down in both directions at Willow Glen Drive near the blaze.
The fire was contained by 4 p.m.
