BAY HO, Calif. (KGTV) -- Homeowners in Bay Ho were thankful firefighters were able to quickly knock down a fire burning in their neighborhood Sunday afternoon.
The fire started just before 5 p.m., but crews were able to knock it down in an hour. It only burned an acre and no homes were damaged.
Homeowners took cell phone video of the fire while firefighters arrived. They said the flames were about 6 feet high and moving quickly.
Three homeowners were evacuated, but they were allowed back into their homes by 7 p.m.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
