CHULA VISTA, Calif. - Arson investigators were on the scene of a suspicious garage fire in Chula Vista Monday afternoon, according to authorities.
The fire broke out shortly after 2 p.m. at a house that's up for sale in the 1700 block of Summer Sky Street near Sweet Sage Street, according to a Chula Vista Fire Deputy Chief Harry Muns.
When firefighters arrived, the garage was fully involved in fire, with flames lapping up the second story, Muns said.
Damage was limited to the garage with some slight damage to the exterior of the second floor. No injuries were reported.
