A fight over a stuffed animal and a transistor radio led to a stabbing at a local Walmart store early Monday morning.

According to San Diego police, the incident happened at around 3 a.m. in front of the store in the 2100 block of Imperial Avenue.

Police said a man and woman's argument over a stuffed Snoopy dog and a transistor radio ended when the woman stabbed the man and ran off with the items.

Officers captured the woman several blocks away, and she was said to be carrying the items and the knife used in the incident.

The victim was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, police said.

Police are investigating the incident, but they believe alcohol played a role.
