SAN DIEGO - Father Joe's Villages will make more room for the homeless to stay overnight Friday because of inclement weather.
The facility at 1501 Imperial Ave. will offer a meal and overnight stay, according to the nonprofit organization. The extra help is partially funded by the San Diego Housing Commission.
Father Joe's officials said check-in begins at 4 p.m., and guests will be required to leave at 5 a.m. Saturday.
While the rain is expected to taper off Friday night, low temperatures are expected to plunge into the 40s.
