BONITA, Calif. (KGTV)--A driver was killed on State Route 125 after being ejected from his vehicle that plunged down an embankment, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A 47-year-old Hispanic man was located approximately six feet away from his black Infiniti G35, which authorities said was transitioning to westbound State Route 54 when it fell 30 feet.
A big rig driver found the wreck Monday morning and notified CHP.
Traffic was temporarily shut down on the northbound SR-125 transition ramp to westbound SR-54 while police investigated the crash.
Investigators are still trying to determine the date and time of the collision.
