FALLBROOK, Calif. (KGTV)--A three-and-a-half hour lockdown was lifted at Fallbrook and Ivy high schools Wednesday afternoon after a report was made to authorities of a firearm on campus.
San Diego sheriff's deputies investigated a school threat that was called in at about 11 a.m. The lockdown was lifted at about 2:50 p.m.
Details are still emerging and it's unclear at this point whether the report was unfounded.
According to the San Diego County Office of Education, there was a report of a firearm on campus.

As of 1pm, all Fallbrook & Ivy students and staff remain in a lock down protection protocol. Students have food and water in classrooms.
