(KGTV) — A post you may be seeing on social media claims Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem thanked President Trump this week for keeping hurricanes away.
And while it's true Noem did say it, she was clearly kidding.
Noem's jokey comment at Trump's cabinet meeting December 1 was greeted with laughter.
At that meeting, cabinet members did heap platitudes on the President and what they say he's done in his first term.
But crediting him with impacting the weather was not a genuine compliment.
