EL CAJON, Calif. (KGTV) - El Cajon Police said Thursday the department had wrapped up its investigation of an El Cajon Valley High School teacher’s conduct and would not be filing charges.
The Grossmont Union High School District put Melissa Drake on leave May 16 due to a student’s allegations of misconduct. Details of the allegations, and the complainant, were not released.
Drake was moved to unpaid leave status on June 19 as the district continued its due process procedures into the claims, according to GUHSD spokeswoman Catherine Martin.
