San Diegans can now head to the polls to vote in the California primary.
The Registrar of Voters office in Kearny Mesa is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday for anyone bringing in a mail-in ballot or looking to vote ahead of Tuesday's primary.
For the primary on Tuesday, the Registrar of Voters office will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. There are also dozens of polling places across San Diego County; click here to find your nearest polling place.
10News learned voter registration numbers in California are up and are the highest ever heading into a primary.
In the past six weeks before the deadline, there have been 650,000 new registered voters in the state -- 76 percent of those registered as Democrat.
