(KGTV) -- A car whipped out of control off a busy Point Loma road and crashed into a Starbucks store Sunday morning, police said.
The incident happened at around 6:30 a.m. at the Starbucks located at 1552 Rosecrans St., according to a San Diego Police Department spokesperson.
Images from the scene shows a gold-colored, four-door sedan stopped several feet inside the store surrounded by a trail of chairs, tables, and debris.
Police did not say if there were any patrons inside the store when the crash occurred but there were no reports of injuries at this time.
It is unknown whether alcohol or drugs played a factor in the incident.
The location is currently closed while crews clear the area.
Two similar accidents occurred within minutes of each other Wednesday afternoon. The driver in one crash was taken to the hospital after crashing her car into a nail salon at a Lemon Grove strip mall.
Around the same time, a car careened out of a parking lot at a strip mall near Southwestern College and smashed its way inside a discount store, damaging merchandise and furnishings but causing no injuries or serious structural damage.
