A woman and her baby were nearly caught in the crossfire of a drive-by shooting in City Heights early Monday morning.

According to San Diego police, the incident happened at about 12:30 a.m. in the 4200 block of Marlborough Avenue, near El Cajon Boulevard.

Police say an argument occurred at a taco shop, and one man walked away on Marlborough. Moments later, a gold Ford Expedition drove by and someone inside opened fire.

Bullets went through a truck parked on the street and shattered glass, and then struck the side of a nearby home.

A woman inside the house told 10News she quickly grabbed her baby and ran to the other side of the home to take cover.

No one was injured in incident.

The intended victim has not been found, and police are searching for the Expedition, police told 10News.
